Reisen vil ta seks måneder og du må reise alene uten en venn. Tegn din egen robot som skal reise med deg til Mars, som er millioner av kilometer bort fra jorda. Roboten kan ha en hvilken som helst størrelse og utforming. Det er BNSC (det britiske nasjonale romsenteret) i England som utlyser konkurransen som er for barn i aldersgruppen 4-7 år og 7-11 år   Credits: ESA/DLR/FU Berlin På nettsiden til BNSC (se lenken nederst) står det følgende om konkurransen: A lucky winner will be chosen from each Key Stage age group and will win a BNSC goodie bag, plus book vouchers worth £25. They will also win £75 worth of book vouchers for their school library. Before you start drawing, here are some questions to think about! · What is your robot going to be made from? Anything travelling into space must be as light as possible so your fuel does not run out! · How will your robot move - wheels, legs or will it hover? Will your robot be able to move across the surface of Mars which has winds reaching speeds of up to 350 km per hour. · How will your robot survive the harsh weather on Mars where temperatures can drop to as low as – 133°C? All entries must reach the British National Space Centre by 1 March 2007. Entries must include the entrant’s full name, age, their teacher’s name and school address. Winners will be notified by post and all entries should be posted to: Draw Your Own Space Robot Competition Communications Team Bay 387 British National Space Centre 151 Buckingham Palace Road London SW1W 9SS   Terms and conditions 1. All entrants must supply their name and address. 2. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into. 3. British National Space Centre employees or agents, their immediate families and anyone else connected with the competition are not eligible to enter. 4. The winner will be notified, by post, within 28 days of the closing date. 5. Only one entry is allowed per person. Entrants must agree to take part in any post competition publicity. 6. The winners will be decided by BNSC’s Communications Team. 7.
