Pupils get help from space

The pupils at Steigen Central School in Northern part of Norway, are using satellite images and GPS in order to find unknown ancient monuments. In their search for, among other things, an ancient Seats of Chieftains, recordings of Engeløya were made from the Quick Bird satellite 4th June 2004.

The European Space Agency (ESA) invites primary school teachers to "Teach Space" workshop at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, 3-4 March 2003.
