Satellite images in the Image Bank
Satellite images in the Image Bank Choosing Satellite Images in the main menu, you are given access to the Sarepta Image Bank. You will find daily updated weather images from the weather satellites NOAA and Meteosat. In addition there are SAR images taken by ERS-2 satellite. An area around the Svalbard archipelago in the Barents Sea has been selected. A number of SAR scenes covering the area has been identified, and the same scene will be provided every 35 days.
During 2007 the old global sea surface temperature (SST) images will be replaced of SST images from MODIS covering Europe.
